The corrupt government has no justification to maintain present petroleum prices: Omer Cheema

Central Information secretary Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Omer Sarfraz Cheema has stressed the need of extending benefit of the decreasing petroleum prices in the international market to the consumer of Pakistan.
The corrupt and inept government has no justification to maintain present petroleum prices. He also called for taking immediate steps to end the menace of load shedding.


In a statement issued by the Central Media Cell the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf information secretary has strongly condemned the govt for its complete failure to overcome the menace of load shedding saying, “load shedding was one of the major challenges for the incumbent govt but despite lapse of more then three and half years’ it did nothing then lip service to Improve the situation.” The situation is farther deteriorating as short fall is increasing by every passing day’ he added.
Million of dollars has been spent unnecessarily on Rental power stations. The main objective of rental power station was to receive kick backs from multi-national companies instead of keeping the interests of the common man of Pakistan, he alleged. Omer Sarfaraz Cheema also demanded immediate relief for the people in petroleum sector in accordance with the price dip in the international market.
